Kinnelon participates in Pequannock Drill
On Sunday December 6th, 2009 members of Kinnelon Vol Fire Co participated in a drill with Pequannock Co’s 1 and 2 at a building being demolished at 590 Route 23. The owner of the property, Route 23 Honda was gracious enough to donate the structure allowing the two towns to practice a fire attack on a real commercial structure. Smoke was provided by a theatrical smoke machine. Kinnelon’s members provided RIT (rapid intervention Team) services. All present benefited from extensive training in forcible entry.
